JOE BONTRAGER

Joe grew up in the small town of Hope and now calls Franklin home with his wife and their two kids—a son and a daughter. When he’s not helping clients, you’ll usually find him spending time with his family, traveling, or finding fun ways to make everyday moments memorable.

Before getting into real estate, Joe built a hands-on career working as a construction laborer, in kitchen design, landscaping, hospitality, and as a professional chef for a large local company. During the COVID era, he decided to take his passion for homes and service in a new direction and made the move into real estate.

Joe and his sister Jacquie now own and operate The Bontrager Group, where they combine their experience and shared work ethic to help clients far beyond the typical real estate transaction. In addition to buying and selling homes, they can also assist with home building, design ideas, and contractor services—helping clients bring their vision for a home to life.

Joe brings a unique perspective to the industry. His background in construction and design helps him see the potential in every home, while his hospitality experience means he truly enjoys taking care of people along the way. Whether clients are buying, selling, building, or planning a project, Joe’s goal is simple: make the process smooth, honest, and maybe even a little fun. 🏡✨
